1900-1910At the radical of the 20th coke a New York editorialist wrote that the 20th century began in the United States with a sense of euphoria and self-satis positionion, a certain feeling that America is the envy of the world(World account statement Timeline 1900-1901). The president was break Roosevelt, who enjoyed enormous popularity due to the general happiness of the American people. A prospering industry created many jobs for immigrants and others. A monumental event took place in 1901 when the New York Stock Exchange exceeded 2 million shares for the counterbalance while ever (World recital Timeline 1900-1901). The tycoon J.P. Morgan created the U.S. Steel Co. in 1901, which became the first billion-dollar lodge in the world (Historical Daily almanac). The Ford Motor Co. was established in 1903, and Henry Ford developed the first Model T railcar that sold for $850. alone of this led to an extremely low unemployment rate of 4%(Historical Daily Almanac 1904).In 19 02, the Wright Brothers made aviation history with their first flight at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. This was the first step for conduct travel as a means of traveling great distances in a relatively short period of time (Historical Daily Almanac 1902). Music was also becoming more and more popular. The roots of shaft started to form during this hug drug, and ballroom dancing began to gain popularity at the end of the decade (American favourite Music 1910). Even though times were good, problems did still exist. black market riots occurred often as blacks pushed for more freedom. When Booker T. Washington was invited to the White tin in 1901, a riot broke out in which 34 people were killed (World History Timeline 1900-1901).
